Arrive in Srinagar
Your Kashmir tour begins on arrival at Srinagar airport/station. Meet our tour representative and transfer to your hotel or houseboat. Spend the rest of the day at leisure taking in Srinagar's famed valley, lakes, and Mughal gardens. In the evening, relax on the houseboat or enjoy a Shikara ride in Nehru Park. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Sightseeing Tour of Srinagar
After a full breakfast, head out to the Mughal Gardens, one of Srinagar's most celebrated attractions and regarded as the pinnacle of Mughal garden design under Shah Jahan. Explore the terraced lawns and fountains, take photographs, and unwind in the peaceful surroundings before returning to your houseboat or hotel for the night.
Srinagar to Gulmarg (51 km / 1.5 hours)
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast, then take a short scenic drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Once there, enjoy nature at its finest — glistening lakes, immaculate rivers, sprawling meadows, snow-clad peaks, pine-scented slopes, and colourful wildflowers make Gulmarg the perfect place to unwind. Overnight stay in a Gulmarg hotel.
Gulmarg to Pahalgam (138 km / 3.5 hours)
Check out early and transfer to Pahalgam, one of Kashmir's hidden gems known for its lush foliage and often called the "Valley of Shepherds." En route, stop at the Awantipura Ruins and the Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Sightseeing Tour in Pahalgam
After breakfast, proceed to Chandanwadi, one of the most picturesque snow-fringed locations in the Kashmir valley, roughly 14 km from Pahalgam, where you'll enjoy a pony ride. Round off the day with a relaxed walk along the banks of the River Lidder. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Pahalgam to Srinagar (90 km / 2 hours)
Rise early for a leisurely day back in the valley. Complete check-out formalities in Pahalgam and drive back to Srinagar. After checking in, rest before heading out in the evening to shop for souvenirs and sample local delicacies at the markets — with the option of an independent Shikara ride. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Departure from Srinagar
Enjoy your final breakfast in the valley, then check out of the hotel for an assisted transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey home, bringing your Splendors of Kashmir tour to a close.
